Mountainous Terrain Screensaver

Mountains always have exerted a great fascination on people and, for this reason, many of them have been considered as sacred, such as Mount Sinai for Jewish, Mount Fuji for Japanese, and Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl for the Aztecs.

This screensaver features a beautiful view of a snowy mountain reflected on a lake. The lake shows a reasonably realistic animation, accompanied by a good set of sound effects. All this convey a relaxing and peaceful feeling. The screensaver has a control panel which lets you adjust some of its features. For example, you can enable or disable the sound effects, and set up the quality of the DirectX animation effect. By default, the program shows a clock on the upper right corner of the screen, but you can choose to change its location, or to hide it altogether. Also, if you like particularly the screensaver's image, you can set it up as your default wallpaper.
As with all the screensavers distributed by this company, the disadvantage of this one is the fact that you need to install the ScreensaversList toolbar and to change your Web browser's homepage to that of the company. You can undo these changes, but this is an annoying feature.
